My name is Ronald Gembler. I am a native to the San Antonio area. About 10 years ago, I started participating in local charity fun runs/walks to lose some extra weight and get in shape. I enjoyed it so much, that I spent more and more of my time exercising. I decided to pursue a degree in health so that I could turn my passion into a career. Education: B.S. degree in Community Health from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Certifications: Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Group Class Instructor, Certified Spin Instructor, Certified Boot Camp Instructor, Certified Senior Fitness Instructor. Experience: Currently employed with the Barshop Jewish Community Center and formerly for the UT Health Science Center. Hobbies: Participating in various local charity fun runs/walks and biking events such as the Toys for Tots 5K, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation (Race for the Cure), and the MS-Bike Ride benefiting the MS society. I also regularly donate blood to the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I am also an active member of Parkhills Baptist. |
